Tax Credit For Qualifying Windows and Doors

Most Bristol Windows Qualify for Stimulus Energy Tax Credit Enacted on February 17, 2009 by President Obama.

Bristol windows and patio doors with Super Triple-E insulating glass with double Solarban60 Low-E, Alpha-10 Gas in both air spaces and BR50 Envirosealed spacer system qualify for tax credits under the 2009 Economic Stimulus package. Increasing your homes comfort, value and beauty with Bristol's energy saving windows and doors can now put up to $1,500 back into your banking account when you file your federal income tax return in 2009 and/or 2010.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 modified the Energy Tax Bill enacted in 2005 so that a homeowner who purchases qualified energy saving windows and doors in 2009/2010 can recoup 30% of the product cost. The maximum aggregate credit is $1,500, this greatly increases the previous amount of $200!  Accentuating the need for energy efficiency, the distinction between the two bills is that now the windows and doors that qualify must have both a U-Factor equal to less than 0.30 and a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) equal to or less than 0.30. Bristol windows and patio doors, manufactured and sold throughout the USA, with our standard Super Triple-E Insulating qualify!
